Eric Leckie is the founder and managing partner of Invictus Law in Virginia Beach. He represents clients throughout Hampton Roads and beyond in criminal defense, military justice, military law, and security clearance matters.
Eric founded Invictus Law with a clear purpose: to restore order when legal challenges create chaos. His practice is built on disciplined preparation, strategic advocacy, and responsive communication designed to help clients navigate difficult situations with confidence.
Leadership and Military Background
Eric’s path to practicing law was shaped by service and leadership.
While attending law school in New York, Eric witnessed the aftermath of the September 11 attacks and volunteered on bucket brigade lines at Ground Zero. That experience inspired his commitment to public service and leadership under pressure.
He later earned a commission in the United States Marine Corps and served for more than a decade as a Judge Advocate.
During his military career, Eric:
